Rakugaki/RKGK is about Cap City being overtaken by the antagonist Mr. Buff and his robotic drones via the use of Draining Screens to mind-control the citizens. Valah, using her graffiti, must progress through the various areas of the city covering up the Draining Screens, and defeating various robotic drones along the way including large robotic bosses.
Along her journey she is aided closely by her own drone friend AYO, and assisted with equipment by the Rakugaki team consisting of Alma, Muro, and Futuro in the form of new clothing and graffiti.

Hideout
The Hideout is the main HUB of the game, it is where you can access things such as the World Map via the ‘Exit’ arcade cabinets, the Blackbook Station containing various logs on in-game elements, the Wardrobe Station to change acquired equipment, the Futuro Station to listen to music, the Alma Station to buy new basic skins/clothing, the Ayo Station to buy new basic graffiti, the Muro Station to buy new “premium” (in-game currency in the form of ‘Ghosts’) skins/clothing and graffiti, and the Gym Zone to freely traverse.
World Map
The World Map is used to access the various Worlds/Chapters of the game and the levels within them. Worlds and levels unlock with progression of levels, and the maps become more colorful as areas are cleared. Challenge progression can also be observed within the UI, with crowns, diamonds, and diamond crowns displaying on levels which have had all challenges completed.
Settings
RKGK has an assortment of Video, Audio, Gameplay, Input, and Accessibility settings ranging from minor visual adjustments to changing to High Contrast mode for players with some visual impairments and reducing loud noises for those sensitive to specific noise types.
Accessibility Settings were especially important to Wabisabi to bring the game to more players.
